1982 Ford Cortina Mk V 2-door base model. A great looking new paint-job plus alloy wheels and front seats, so I wonder if the 2.0 badge on the wing is true. (DVLA says it's still a 1.3). | left--handed posted a photo:

Another picture taken in Wombwell Diesels scrap yard, South Yorkshire. This one dates from 9th September 1982. I think that this little coach was a Commer Avenger with a Harrington Light-weight body, which presumably belonged to Tantivy Motors on Jersey at some point. I haven't got the registation, so can't give any further details, but I would assume that the vehicle dated from the early 1950s? |
