These are some red berries on the branch of a tree on St. Mary's recreation park in Arnold, Nottingham

Shot on the 'macro setting' on my little Panasonic TZ7 as I walked Ruby our little whippet dog in the snow at the weekend.

I like the ice crystal and the reds.

I don't know if there is enough interest in the image to hold a viewers attention for long.

The image has been rotated, the branch originally started in the bottom left hand corner

These are the fields near Bestwood Country Park, Arnold, Nottingham

The title describes the four elements of the shot ..Snow...shadows.....trees ... sky

The tracks in the 'virgin snow' are those of some horses that live in the field !!

This is the path leading from the car park at the Bestwood Lodge Hotel into Bestwood Country Park, near Arnold , Nottingham

This is more a 'grab shot'.......(we were walking to the hotel for a family 'get together')..... rather than a controlled planned shot

I would have liked the two peopl in the distance of the path to be a few metres nearer, but I do like the lead in lines of the wooden posts either side of the pathway
