Several members of Taunton Camera Club attended a Light Painting Workshop at Monks Yard (www.themonksyard.co.uk), near Chard, last night. Hosted by local pro-photographer, Simon Plant (www.plantphoto.com/}, the evening was very enjoyable, if a trifle chilly, and I think we all had a lot of fun experimenting with high powered torches and long exposures.
In this shot David Morton is spinning his "LED on a rope" device to create the blue sphere - only problem was he forgot to switch off his red led head light.
We finished off the evening with hot soup, crusty rolls and a few tips on compositing in Photoshop from Simon. |
