~ Dr Seuss
This image is the result of an experiment:
One square sided glass vase filled with water.
One dropper of blue food colouring.
Drip food colouring into the water, and then photograph the ensuing patterns.
I could have watched it for hours - the way the coloured liquid 'fell' through the water was fascinating. The kids helped me with my experiment and were also mesmerised by the results.
My entry for No.31 - Liquid, in 112 in 2012.

Milk drop in water
Sorry for the delay - I wasn't satisfied with my first try and badly wanted to make it again... :) |

Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, just an experimental development shot. | colinhcameron posted a photo:

Nooo not the beer!
Another shot I was looking forward to doing. I spent a good while shooting plastic cups here trying to get the timing right, I wasnt that confident I was going to catch the shot the way I wanted (and didnt want to have to waste another pint) so it was a big relief when I saw I'd manged to get the hit.
Shot fired from underneath camera, speedlight bounced off white card at rear, another in a cut out pringles can front right, both fired by audio trigger on the Phototrigger. |

My poor daughter has been feverish, lethargic and inconsolable for the last 5 days, which meant that Project 365 took a back seat to motherhood. Two doctor appointments later, she was finally diagnosed with an ear infection. Sucks that she has an ear infection, but at least now we know why she's been in so much pain, instead of feeling like a helpless mother. With the help of a little pink stuff, she's now back to her smiley self and I can now get back to Project 365.
Glad to be back! | mon7gomery posted a photo:

Day 39
Some wine glasses with dyed water getting the 'lead in the face' treatment.
I had this shot, and another to follow later, in my head for a while now and after god knows how many test shots and timing tweaks I finally 'shot' them. You only get one real shot at it when your shooting glass with an air rifle.
Shot from under camera, speedlight bounced off white card at rear and another from front both sound triggered by the Phototrigger |
