Liquids can be still and reflective or in motion and chaotic. Make a photograph of something liquid today.

PS. I got the idea from surfing the flickr explore a couple of days ago, trying to get some inspiration for a different assignment.

I came across a very cool photo of a perfecly focused strawberry hitting a bowl of milk. I tried to play a little composition on this one since I couldn't shoot too close to the bowl, or the lens would have gotten milk all over it. You should see how the flash ended with this session...hahahaha. Don't believe me?Check out the table!!! :)

Anyway, for the lighting I ended up checking www.strobist.com for ideas, and came up with a very good article on lighting waterdrops. this one will have to also try it some other time.

Playing around with water last night and since I missed the focus on the water, this one came out pretty cool. I played around with some Lightroom pre-sets and this one kind of caught my eye.

A strange find this one. I was in one of my water droplet phases and i decided to drop stuff in the water to see what it did. I could see the sugar sit on the surface - i was going for the surface tension - but soon saw the sugar slowly descend. only looking at the RAW did i see the trails. Nice :)
