We had a dinner party with an interesting twist. Our friend, who is a chef, was supposed to come and do the cooking. He wrecked his car on 95 while he was on his way. He wasn't hurt, but we didn't have a cook. Luckily our other friend had some venison that he brought to save the day.
This wine was good. In fact, without exception everything I've had from McManis is excellent. We got this wine from Towson wine and Spirits as suggested by the guy working the register. He praised it up and down. Personally, we thought that their Cabernet was better but this wine is good too. I probably will be replacing this bottle and would recommend this to anyone.

I'm listening to some youtube videos playing on my other monitor. It's some bluegrass I saw on CNN the other day. The kids playing it are so young, but they sure can play. Click Here to check it out.

I hadn't noticed it was there since a few days ago. Stopped by and took this shot. I had ages i didn't see a Hydrant and i was amazed to see on inside the campus.
There was a lovely sunset in our area today. I spotted it out the window while I was getting the kids ready for bed and I ran outside with the camera to shoot it from over the creek. This view is almost the opposite from the "Beauty and the Beast" shot from a couple nights ago. The stones at the bottom of the frame are the top of the stone bridge visible in that other photo. It really is a pretty view, and I am glad drive slowly past and admire it each time I leave the house in this direction.
