Today was a slow day, compared with the previous two. I had a chance to breathe a little and focus on the planes landing and taking off. Sylvester Williams, my primary point of contact with Golden Eagle Aviation, let me go out in the mid-field to get a better vantage point. Today, aircraft allowed community and visiting youth to take rides around the airspace of Tuskegee as a part of the Tuskegee Airmen Museum celebration weekend. The Black Pilots of America played a large part in making this possible and donating their time.
I think it was near 90 degrees today. Doesn't stop the crawl of early-Thankgiving/Christmas themed items from popping up. The biggest and most delightful addition to the market are things of the pumpkin-flavored variety. So good. So tasty.
We got itchy feet last night, a little cabin fever, and decided a little coffee would do well. I've not been to Dolce Vita in a long time, but love their Creme Brulee. Little did I know... they too carry Pumpkin Gelato.
Oh.
Yes.
Pumpkin Gelato. If there is such a thing as the gelato flavor of the gods, this very well may be it. Or maybe it's just the first pumpkin-flavored item I've had this "holiday season" and I'm geeking out about it. Mmm.
As stated before, I adore their creme brulee. And they've apparently added more food since last I was there. I'll need to go back during the day when it's quieter and try some tasty entrees.
