So, I was thinking about Where's Wally. There's one book in which he travels through time, which really should have been When's Wally, surely? And that got me thinking, what other questions can Wally solve?
What's Wally? Perhaps he's miffed off Wizard Whitebeard, who has cursed him to be a different thing in each picture.
Why's Wally? Wally gets philosophical about life, not only do you have to find him, but you have to work out why he's there as well.
And finally, the inspiration for this peice, How's Wally? We take so much time to find him, that no-one ever asks how he is. He could be a big wailing ball of quivering depression on the inside, and we'd never know. So this image has been slightly edited to encourage Wally fans to check in on their hero, just to make sure he's ok.
Took me an hour or two to whip this one up, and I'm pretty proud of the result. Please note that this is an edit of Martin Handford's original, I did not draw the whole thing! The Assault on Black Reach however, that's all me. Check that one out!
This is a zoom of the original, hopefully it's a bit easier to see what I've actually done in this one! | Krispit posted a photo:

'Pecking Order'
My first Cartoon! Done for the 'Cat Fans Do' video that Simon is compiling. (Creator of Simon's Cat).
I have based this drawing on my own babies - Misty, Miesha & Bracken my Whippet.
Originally sketched the idea on paper then created in Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos A5 Tablet. |
