This is my first shot from my session with Jacqueline. She wanted some shots for her portfolio that showed off her potential as a commercial model. This was one of my early favorites from the shoot.
Keep in mind that there is absolutely NO post processing in this image other than adding the watermark. Personally I think it came out great straight out of the camera.
As usual this was shot on my trusty Nikon D90, with an 18-70mm lens and an sb-600 on a stand fired directly on the model from the right side of the frame.
I was on the way home from band practice and decided to stop by SFO. I really can't get enough of watching these big birds speed down the runway and take to the air.
I had taken some motion blur night shots before and thought I'd try my luck at it again. It's hard to pan and keep up with the plane because the view finder goes black when the shutter opens. I took around 300 pics all told. This was my best result. The reflections of the lights on the water really make this feel surreal.
