Don't be too harsh... I'm just messing around. I know it's not done neatly and I know my face is all puffy because I'm ill.

Kat in red

The latest from the bakery of stunners: it´s Kat Milan (modelmayhem) with whom I shot some outfits in our studio . The make up was done by Miira H. (portfolio site coming up maybe?)

The light is:
Two bowens monolights for the rims. Both with huge softboxes. One on either side of subject and slightly behind.

Key light is an elinchrom d-lite 4 plus with a small softbox with no diffusion sheet. That was upon cam, slightly to right. Theres a silver reflector below the cam.

Fun afternoon. Lotsa laughs and throwing around clementines.

Kalarippayatti 5

Warriors spar with spears in Ernakulam in Kerala, India. Kalarippayattu is a form of martial art that developed in the kingdoms that existed in what is now Kerala (and some areas of Tamil Nadu) among highly trained elite soldiers (chavverpada) and duelists (chekavan). It is one of the oldest martial arts in the world but went underground during British rule, though it is again emerging and gaining popularity.
