I'm actually only a fan of Simon Pegg, Shaun of the Dead, "not becoming a fan", Jeff Shew's Post, Adam Leahy Photography, Andrew W.K. and Between the Buried and Me.
This was made to make fun of pretty much every person that's a friend of mine on Facebook. I have to scroll down for several years until I can find something that someone actually has to say. Me and Jeff Shew make fun of them a lot. Which is why I made 'Jeff Shew's Post' which was literally: "You won't believe how many groups there are on Facebook! A few hours ago, I became a fan of 'Satan' and 'fisting'!" I only made it as a joke, yet it has 9 fans.
I hate the whole 'fan' thing, so that was the basis around this. People set up pages for random stuff, whether or not they make sense after 'became a fan of' and everybody but me and Jeff pretty much plague home pages with random posts of what they're now a fan of, as if it has any relavence to anything. And sometimes they become fans of so many things, they end up ending the post with 'and # other profiles' depending on how many else. I can technically be a fan of all of these except for the obvious ones that make no sense or aren't actually something I like. I seriously hate the whole craze around the becoming fans of things. It started off as a little thing, now it won't stop...
Add me on Facebook if you want, you won't get any 'became a fan of' from me. My Facebook
The legend that is Mr. Jon McClure invited me and Ben on the tour bus after the gig at Plymouth's White Rabbit. Had a great chat, he's a total gent and a top fella!
I'm starting to work on the next camera club assignment in which we are to take photos of things above our heads. I like this idea, but I'm not entirely happy with the photo. Will go back and try again.
