When I posted my previous image of the light sculpture, "Multiverse" that is situated along the moving walkway between the East and West Buildings of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, I had trouble choosing which to post of the many photos I took. Here's a view from the opposite side. You can see more movement of the lights on this one (or of me!) especially in the lower left of the photos. The lights are ever-changing so I went back and forth taking photos until I was almost dizzy. Created by American artist Leo Villareal, the sculpture contains approximately 41,000 LED nodes programmed by computer to generate different effects. I'm hoping to "play tourist" in Washington again today.
Michigan Avenue blocked off from Randolph to the Art Institute. It didn't seem to be anything serious, however. Trucks were already leaving by the time I took this.
