since i was kid every year our neighbor in cavite city bring to our house a replica of the Porta Vaga and we have what was call a Block Rosary and it will stay in our house for 8 days. so this inspired me to make our one replica of it.
This is my Design for the "housing" ( I don't know what it was called so feel free to post any comment ) of my silver replica of the soldad of porta vaga. I will post the picture of my oil painting soon and i will also post the picture of the real thing when it is finish.

Cave graffiti or what? Not really.The guy who "discovered" the cave in the 1920s, JD Howard, named it and marked the various rooms and floors in the cave.
It's kind of a joke to say this guy "discovered" the cave. Aboriginal people lived in this area for, oh, about 11.000 years - so maybe one of them stumbled upon it. But anyway . . . | okatei posted a photo:
