I took this image yesterday while travelling on a train into the city. The guy in the photo was kind enough to allow me to photograph him as we travelled. I think this image works well because it captures the essence of how he is just "Watch The World Go By", as he looks out the window.
The image was shot in colour and then saturated and slightly dodged and burned using Photoshop CS4
Out shooting on my Blue Mountains course today showing students the importance of perspective and composition and how sometimes you have to get down and dirty to get the shot.
So standing in the water I took a few shots and this was the result. Single image capture, polariser, RAW file exported as Smart Object, duplicated and re opened in photo with white balance change and then blended in CS4 with other blend modes etc.
