i LOVE getting my hair done. really. ever since getting it cut 6-7 years ago, i look forward to hair day. before then, i had hippie girl hair... wash and go. whatever it looked like, that is what it was. it was long, so if nothing else i could always pull it into a pony. but when you have short hair, you have to 'do' it. and let's admit it.. no one really does it like your hairdresser. I love Cristin... she does great color and makes me look (a.k.a. feel) like a million bucks when she blows it out. I always joke with her that i need to get my hair done when i'm going OUT, so i can show it off. But in all honestly, hair appointments are done when there is time: between kid drop off/ pick up, or on a day i don't work :) So i never really get to show it off.... But today, I got to share it with an empty field. oh yeah baby..... talll dead grasses...... long lens... open aperture..... I swear I could hear the field whisper "nice hair" in the breeze.

My photograph of a "curious fox" was selected by Cowboys & Indians Magazine in the wildlife category in its annual photo contest and published in the March 2012 issue of the magazine on page 126.
