Animation Clips 3DCMA

First Clip ( Parkour Competition) : Gives a great example of the dynamics of the human body, and how it may be used in certain situations. Shows a lot of joint movement and stretch in the muscles, and it also gives a nice sense of anticipation.

The Second Clip ( Jim Carrey- Dumb and Dumber) : I chose it because the character communicates with the audience through gesture therefore giving a nice glimpse into his emotions. There's going to be a high difficulty in animating the hand gestures and making interactions with the objects around him.

The Third Clip: ( Fresh Prince - Carlton Banks Dancing )
I chose it because not only that it shows a great movement from one point to another, but the character also stretches a lot and interacts with his environment. His movement is synchronised with the music in the background, which I'm planning to add to the clip as well.

3D Model Image of the Interior of PeaceKnowe Hill Fort, with Artificial lighting

A basic 3D model created by using a number kite aerial images into Photoscan and then transfered into Maya to create a high density mesh. The model has a basic surface added to it and a simple light model animated across its surface to highlight any potential features. The KAP images can then be replicated in the model and examined for further potential from different viewpoints.

Jenna does a photo shoot

A nice patch of sun, a willing model - what else could I do, but to break out the camera?

I went out trapping last night. The neighbourhood was fairly busy. A neighbour was barbecueing on the deck the cats usually hide under (even though it was 8pm) and people were walking/driving around quite a bit. I sat out for just over an hour but I saw very few cats so packed it up and started for home. I just turned the corner leaving the alley when I saw a cat and it looked like it was purposefully headed toward my feeding station. So I quickly turned around and went back and set up my trap again. It was a new cat, a fluffy orange and white one that I had only seen one time before. I saw it the evening previous while picking up my mail on main street! At that time it ran across the street and stopped to spray someone's car tire, then continued on it's way. Thus I know it's a male cat. It must roam quite a distance as main street is several blocks away from my alley and likely it must have come from somewhere on the other side of main street.

In any case it did go straight to the feeding area, and another cat came from the other direction. I can't see the trap from where I am parked, but I had the window rolled partway down so I can hear the trap if it springs. After awhile the orange and white cat came out of the area and rolled around on the sidewalk in front of me. I tried approaching it, and though it didn't seem to be overly afraid of me, it still took off back the way it came from. The other cat didn't enter my trap either and I am guessing that either the cats distracted each other or possibly the second cat was one I have previously TNR and it got spooked by the sight of the trap and took off. In any case, I will try again.

I did see a couple of my alley cats last night. At one point I saw one at the other end of the alley (I think it was Royce) but the pet black cat that lives near there chased him away before he came very close. I also saw Lexus one time when I was circling the block.
