Last night a group of friends and I went to the Oracle Arena to see GSW play OKC. The Warriors aren't exactly the best team in the league but there fun to watch. Kinda funny but most of the times when I'm in the stadium, I'm there to see the other team.

This is part of an experiment comparing two different types of water bugs that are native to the Catalina Mountains by Tucson.

This is an experiment being done in the coastal desert section. Again, I forgot the nature of the project, but I thought it looked cool backlit here.

16" x 16" acrylic on wood panel.
I can see endless possibilities for this "style." Totally imagination generated, no landscapes, no gravity, no perspective, no rules.
Of the three "studies" submitted here (the last 2 submissions included) this is my favorite.
This is a direction that I feel very comfortable with. Very enjoyable to create. I?m happy with the results. I hope to do many more similar paintings in the months to come. | S. Christine Brink posted a photo:

The Leo Project, under construction in the old agricultural section of the Biosphere. This University of Arizona project is going to test water runoff over various soils.
