I've largely avoided portraits since purchasing my camera a year ago. Lately though I've been inspired to take more portraits and to get better at taking them. With 3 sons I have plenty of opportunity. |

Dusk and I was back by the part of the park where the dance troupe had been practicing. They were still there, this time at the end of their practice and they all had paper fans. Light was getting really low here so it was time for the 85mm f/1.4 again. As if there is ever a bad time for that lens :-)

I was just finishing a lesson with a student and whilst Rob was taking pics of something behind me, I spotted this kid sat in the tree. Great. Kind of reminds me that we should all just take some 'sit in the tree and do nothing' time for ourselves every now and again.
