My Ubuntu desktop just after the new 8.10 installation. Some panel tweaks and (see how-to here at my blog) with Compiz Fusion enabled (not able to see that from this photo though :P). In general, 8.10 rock!

The XOExplosion.com Ubuntu SD card boots up OK once you've installed the developer key, but the broken nm-applet / network manager is a show stopper. I can't access wifi or the network without presumably getting into some command line voodoo.
